Payments and editorial independence
Best Info Crypto has never accepted money from anyone. We have not received payment for coverage or inclusion in our guides.
An earlier version of our presales guide incorrectly described outbound links as sponsored. That wording and the tracked promotional links have been removed. The previous wording did not describe a payment received by the site. We also removed the unsupported ranked presale selections.
If a commercial arrangement is introduced in future, we will disclose its nature clearly on affected pages before the relevant links or recommendations. A relationship with a listed product, project or channel should be disclosed locally; for example, our YouTube guide identifies Jacob’s own channel.
AI assistance and review
AI tools are used for drafting, research assistance, editing, illustrations and site tooling. Most daily news articles have been drafted with AI assistance. The byline identifies editorial responsibility; it does not mean every word was personally written by that person.
Earlier versions of this policy and our article template claimed that every AI-assisted article had been reviewed before publication. Our automated publishing process did not require a recorded review. We have removed that blanket assurance and do not claim a verified review history for legacy articles.
Under the revised workflow, new generated news and market reports are saved as drafts. Before publication, a human editor must check the specific revision and record the reviewer and review date. Editing the article after that approval requires a new review. The public article displays review details only when a review has been recorded. Automated checks catch technical problems; they do not establish factual accuracy or replace editorial judgment.
Sourcing and useful coverage
Our editorial standard is to:
- Link consequential factual claims to the relevant document, dataset, filing or announcement. Identify secondary reporting when that is the available source.
- Separate verified facts, calculations, interpretation and hypothetical scenarios. A model-generated price target is not a validated forecast or an official forecast from the model provider.
- Preserve the observation date and method for market data. Newly generated market reports archive their inputs so readers can inspect the calculations.
- Explain what our reporting adds, including original calculations, evidence or useful context. We do not use a minimum word count as a quality test.
- Describe actual testing methods and limitations when making comparisons. Do not imply personal use, independent testing, holdings or expertise without evidence.
These are the standards for new work and for the ongoing review of older pages. They are not a certification that every legacy page already meets them.
Bylines and illustrations
Historical collective bylines remain documented on the editorial byline page. We previously used fictional staff names and have retired them. New reviewer details must identify a real person.
Generated illustrations are not documentary photographs or measured charts. Charts presented as data should identify the dataset and observation time. We do not use a generated illustration as evidence of a market pattern.
Corrections
Material corrections retain the original publication date, add an update date and explain the change on the page. A change to a headline does not justify changing a URL that readers already use. If an article cannot be supported, a correction or retraction should explain the issue at the original address where appropriate.
